Downton Abbey: A New Era story

Not much is known about the plot of Downton Abbey ii, not even what year it is set.

The beginning moving picture is set up in 1927 and chronicled a visit by King George V and Queen Mary to Downton Abbey.

The sequel looks similar it takes place non long later on that, perhaps in 1928 or 1929. The teaser trailer reveals that Tom gets married to Lucy, whom he met during that royal visit. She was introduced as Lady Bagshaw's companion and subsequently revealed to be her clandestine girl (out of matrimony). The showtime pic ended with Tom and Lucy like-minded to write letters and get to know each other. It seems similar the courtship went well!
